DFI Helical Committee News
At the DFI’s Helical & Tiebacks committee meeting in Colorado Springs last fall, committee chairman Bob Hoyt announced that he would be retiring from his position.
Vice-Chair, Howard Perko was appointed to the chair position by the DFI. At the January-08 committee meeting in Las Vegas, the committee nominated and approved Gary Seider from Chance/Hubbell to be the new vice-chairperson.
This marks the first time in the history of the Helical Committee’s existence that a representative from a manufacturer has held either the chair or vice-chair position.
